About
Parent-Child Lessons
Of all sports, swimming can be started the earliest. At SwimKids, we start introducing little ones to the water at just 4 months old!
Starting them young has amazing health benefits including accelerating their brain development.
Our “daddy and me” / “mommy and me” swim lessons allow you to get in the pool with your child in a group class led by an instructor who helps you introduce your child to floating, submersion, scooping, kicking, and a little one-on-one time with the instructor.
Our gentler methods preserve their love of water while preparing them for Infant Survival lessons once they are ready. We recommend starting parent-tot lessons between 4-6 months old and transitioning to infant survival lessons between 9 to 12 months old.
Our Philosophy
Fun for Everyone
SwimKids is the place where fun and safety meet. We believe learning to swim should be fun for kids of all ages. The group structure of our parent-child swimming classes makes it fun for both parents and children.
Parents like you can meet and socialize with other like-minded parents with small children, while also spending quality time bonding with your own child. Our group class’s activities are designed to involve everyone in interactive, engaging, and exciting ways.
Although it is a group program, we still provide individual attention and tips to each parent to help their child better enjoy and progress in the class. Once your child develops adequate coordination and breath control, we recommend transitioning to infant survival lessons to receive the one-on-one tutoring needed to become swim-safe and independent in the water.

SwimKids has taught 80,000+ children self-rescue skills, helping prevent drowning with 40 years of proven, trusted experience.
